The SALTWATER SCRIBE is a siren who lures bad writing to its watery grave. She uses maritime metaphors, aquatic allegories and alliteration to teach young writers how to navigate the high seas of writing.

CANDICE MARLEY CONNER writes of watery things, whether it be water sprites or half sea serpents or girls who are really manatees. She loves all the fairy tales and has to take turns with her 5 year old and 2 year old on who gets to be the villain. Evil cackles and rawrs have been mastered by all. She has a YA mystery and MG magical realism/fairytale retelling out on submission. She is represented by Lotus Lane Literary.
